Currently Seeking: Administrative Coordinator

Part Time (5-10 hours per week)

*** The applicant must be 21 years of age or older to be able to meet the legal requirement to participate in our events. 

The Administrative Coordinator assists with the production of events and educational programming, membership services, and marketing functions across the cannabis industry by performing the following duties and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the coordination, execution, and management of events in The Cannabis Chamber of Commerce’s various chapters across the US. Events are generally networking events, and virtual discussion panels, with plans for larger and more complex events in the future.

  • Assists with marketing functions for the organization that include online marketing, content creation & social media posting.

  • Assists with membership coordination, management, and customer service (answering questions by email or phone, and calling to thank new members). 

  • Answers emails as directed related to membership and event inquiries.

  • Updates calendars and other documents as instructed with key dates.

Other Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills & professional demeanor.

  • Experience with social media platforms IG, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects.

  • Ability to gather data, and compile information.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent telephone courtesy knowledge and experience.

  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.

  • Ability to work evenings or weekends for events.

  • Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, and preferably Canva or other design software. 

Education and/or Experience:

Some college experience at a four year University; Associate Degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
